Low blood insulin levels when accompanied by normal blood glucose levels indicate high efficiency of the hormone.  

Low blood insulin levels when accompanied by high blood glucose levels indicate low efficiency of the hormone.

The “crank” of insulin hormone loses its efficiency and is unable to turn the “crank-shaft” of insulin hormone receptor protein embedded in the cell membrane when the it becomes “rusted, turned or twisted” by build-up of cellular toxins.


The lower the blood insulin levels are, the better the long-term health, provided the blood glucose levels are in the healthful range.

Very low blood insulin levels are also seen in people with diabetes  Type 2 who run very high blood sugar and insulin levels, waste their insulin reserves, and eventually become insulin-depleted. This occurs because their diabetes is not properly treated.

Very low blood insulin levels are also seen in people with diabetes Type 1 in which the cells that produce insulin in the pancreas gland are destroyed with acute immune toxicity.

In Tables 1 and 2 given below, I present two case studies showing the following two patterns:

  1. Low insulin and healthy blood sugar levels
  2. Low insulin levels with very high diabetic blood sugar levels.
