Informed decision requires consultation with a radiotherapist but also with doctors with experience with other options.


Good News: I Know Doctors Who Order PSA Test to Try to Push You Away From Radiotherapy for the Prostate Gland

The doctors in this group are ethical and do not push prostate gland radiotherapy for financial reasons.


Bad News:

The doctors in this group believe in radiotherapy but do not seriously study the benefits of non-radiotherapy control of prostate cancer.


If You Are 42-Yr-Old and Your PSA Is Rising Rapidly, a Biopsy Reveals Cancer, Radiotherapy Is Not Likely to Be Your Best Treatment Option. 

Surgery, notwithstanding the risks, is most likely your best option. Please get full evaluation from a doctor who has studied all options for treating prostate cancer and has  no financial interest in any specific method of treating prostate cancer.


If You Are 62-Yr-Old, Your  PSA Isa Rising Slowly, and Biopsy Reveals Cancer of Low Grade, Radiotherapy May Be a Good Option.   

Please get full evaluation including an informed second opinion. Radiotherapy, notwithstanding the risks, may be a good option. Please get full evaluation from a doctor who has studied all options for treating prostate cancer and has  no financial interest in any specific method of treating prostate cancer.
