Heart Palpitations Controlled by Sleeping on the Right Side
Majid Ali, M.D.
Effect of Position on Heart Palpitation
In many cases, but not all, heart palpitations can be reduced or cleared completely simply by sleeping (or lying) on the right side rather than on the left side. The explanation of this is simple: lying or sleeping on the left side restricts the left chest wall (and space within) and so puts some mechanical pressure on the heart.
If you suffer from heart palpitations and have not tried this simple trick, it is worth tyring and then speak to your doctor about it.
