The Gluten-Diabetes Connection
Majid Ali, M.D.
My three simple scientific observations concerning the “gluten problem” are:
First, the gluten family of proteins are wrongly blamed for diverse autoimmune symptom-complexes;
Second, the prevailing thinking that “going gluten-free” will solve the diverse autoimmune symptom-complexes; and
Third, that going gluten-free and ignoring the underlying problems of environmental toxicities, gut fermentation, leaky gut state, and insulin toxicity (hyperinsulinism) pushes people deeper into the insulin-diabetes track.
In my free Gluten Course, I include a series of gluten videos and a library of articles, essays, and case reports to support my view that the prevailing ideas of “going gluten-free” is fanning the fires of diabetes pandemic.
